Development of writing skill of the students using different tools

Abstract -
Listening, speaking, reading and writing are very important language skills in a child's life.
Among them writing skill is very important. In this research paper I have given priority to English writing skill .My Research paper is Development of writing skill of the students using different tools.My school is in a rural area in a poor locality.My school is from 1st to 4th standard.I presented and wrote this research essay to improve the English writing skills in my class IV students.
As all the students are children of economically very poor parents. I always organize various activities to provide them with various facilities and improve their educational quality.I conducted this research essay because the English writing skills of these poor children were not improved as much as they should have been.For this I practiced by creating many materials like letter cards, word cards, sentences cards, paragraph cards and picture cards.
Also for this computer ,LED was used effectively to improve students' writing.Also, for this purpose, efforts were made to improve students' writing by effectively using the interactive board in the class.Also, students were given personal guidance to improve their English writing from time to time, so the students' English writing improved.A confidence was created in the minds of the students about writing.

Introduction of Research paper-

I work as a Primary Teacher in Zilla Parishad primary school in Yashwant Nagar, Nagar taluka of Ahmednagar district. All the students in my school are from rural areas and their situation is very poor.So it becomes very difficult for them to get various facilities for education.I provide them with various facilities from time to time.As our school is a school in a rural area, the mother tongue is Marathi, so the students were not confident enough to speak English, so I decided to prepare a research paper to improve the writing skill of the students using different tools.
As the mother tongue in Maharashtra is Marathi, students have difficulty in learning English, so I submitted this research paper to improve English writing of students and wrote it excellently.Our school is a Marathi medium school, in which students need to do various activities to improve their English, so I conducted Development of writing skill of the students using different tools.This research paper in my 4th grade class to improve students' English writing.For this purpose, I created different types of educational materials and used them for this writing and also used the LED, computer ,interactive board from time to time to improve the English writing of the students.

Method  of Research paper- 
----------------
Writing is of two types namely transcription and dictation.
Anu writing means writing by sight and dictation means writing by listening.
In this research paper, I practiced both these writings from time to time from the students. Research paper focus on Development of writing skill of the students using different tools.

Letter cards writing -
-----------------------------
Because some letters are produced from cardsheet.Active participation of the students in making these letter cards was practiced from time to time to improve the writing of the students.
Students started writing the letters on the letter card in a good manner.Computer ,LED and Intractive Board also used for the letter card writing.
For example -A ,B,C,D ,,,,etc
a,b,c,d ,e,f,,,,,,,etc.

Writing word cards -
----------------------------
After letter card writing practiced  word card writing.For this, various types of word cards were prepared from card sheets and students actively participated in it.
In this two letter three letter ,four letter, five letter words were created and used for writing from time to time.Active participation of students in creating these words.
Word writing practice on computer ,LED, Intractive board was done from time to time by students.Students started writing word card happily.
For example - Cat ,Bat ,Fat ,Book ,Child ,mango,Banana,,,,,,etc.

Writing sentences cards -

Sentence cards writing after practicing word card writing.Students actively participated in creating sentence cards from card sheets.
Also, they practiced writing sentences on the computer ,LED ,interactive board.Seeing the sentences on the interactive board, the students started writing happily.
For example - I am a boy,
She is a girl ,
You are a boy,
You are a girl.
My name is Suman,
I like milk,
We play on the ground.
,,,,,etc

Picture cards writing -

After the practice of sentence cards writing, I took up the practice of picture writing.Students were shown different types of pictures and wrote a short sentence describing the pictures.
Seeing these pictures, the students started writing short sentences on them.
Also, LED, computers, Intractive Board were used for writing picture cards and active boards were used. After seeing many types of pictures on the board, students started writing short sentences on them.

Paragraph Cards writing -

After drawing a picture, they practiced writing in the exam. The students practiced the time of writing in various books in various exams. Also, the students wrote the paragraph from the newspaper and also practiced reading the written paragraph in an excellent way.Also this time LED ,computer and Intractive board were used for writing this paragraph. Students started writing with great joy after seeing the paragraph on the board.

Story writing-
-----------------------------
Practiced writing a story after a paragraph article. Various types of small stories were practiced from time to time. Picture books were used for this. Interactive board, computer, LED was used while writing these stories.  Enjoyable learning through writing.Students started story writing happily.

Activities-
Following activities were took in the class for the writing

1) Write the name of letters.
2)Wite the name of words.
3)Write the name of pictures.
4) Write the sentences.
5)Write the Paragraph.
6)Write the story.
7)Write the Poem.
8)Write the lession.

Group Discussion- 
-------------------------------
In order to develop writing skills, student-teacher interaction took place from time to time, so they discussed the writing with each other, so that each other understood what aspects should be corrected in the writing.

Teacher's Diary -
--------------------------
 I used the teacher's diary to develop the writing skills of the students. While developing the writing skills, I recorded the important notes that I felt in the teacher's diary.
I also noted in the teacher's diary both the errors and noteworthy points in the students' writing.Teacher's diary is very important while checking the academic progress of students.

Data Collection -
---------------------------
 To develop the writing skill of the students I used LED,Computer ,Smart Phone, Interactive Board,You tube , videos, letter cards,word cards, sentences cards,picture cards, Paragraph cards , story' cards.I always used different ICT tools and offline tools.

Conclusion - 
---------------------
Writing skill of the students developed.
The students developed an interest in English writing.
The students became confidence in English writing.
The students started writing stories and books.
The students started in verious competition on English writing.

Challenges-
------------------
There were some difficulties in developing writing skills of the students as the mother tongue of the students is Marathi so many times they faced various difficulties in understanding English.
Where the students have problems in writing, by giving personal guidance to the students, the problems and errors in writing are removed.
Students started writing English subject well.
Therefore, I am very happy that the writing of rural students has improved.
The parents also expressed their satisfaction that the English writing of the students has improved.
Parents and authorities specially congratulated for this research paper.
