Various activities were implemented for students in our School to acquire basic literacy and numeracy as follows:-
Continuous reading activities are conducted in the school.
A children's library has been created for reading in the school.
Activity Library Student Door--
During the Corona period, the library implemented the activity of students' doors and made various books available for students to read by displaying various books at the students' homes.
Students happily read different types of books.
By informing the parents about the importance of reading to the villagers, various types of books were obtained for the extra reading of the students through public participation.
After the corona period, when the school started regularly, once a week in the school, various books were displayed and the students read different kinds of books.
Reading activities are also carried out in school and during vacations, students are given various kinds of books to read.
Self paid subscription of Kishore magazine for students to read Students read Kishore magazine with understanding and pleasure.
Even during the summer vacation, students were given different types of books to read along with display of books at students' homes.
A variety of subject books as well as a variety of newspapers are made available to the students to read.The State Educational Research and Training Council took cognizance of this and continuous reading activities and publicized this activity in the state level Jeevan Shiksha magazine.
Due to the continuous reading activities, the reading culture has been inculcated among the students, so various organizations, authors, publishers have given different types of reading books to the school, and the students read these books from time to time.
Due to the activity of continuous reading, reading culture has been inculcated in the students by creating interest in reading.
In the National Education Council at Kolhapur, the continuous reading program was presented to the teachers of the state and various officials and the state education commissioner. The education commissioner and the state teachers congratulated the reading program.
In the district level G 20 Summit workshop organized by Sangamner Diet.I presented the continuous reading activity.The teachers and Education Officer congratulated this initiative.
Times of India took notice of the reading activity and published the news of this activity to the Times of India all over India. After reading this news, many people in the country helped the school to read books and gave many books to read.
A variety of mathematical games and language games are enjoyed in the classroom, so students develop interest in language and mathematics.English and Marathi lessons are dramatized in class.
English and Math boxes are used to make study and teaching effective.
Various types of poems were recited and sung by carrying out this activity on the visit of poet students.
Knowledge constructivism method is always adopted to teach basic literacy and numeracy to students.
